wow. This is an abandoned city bus that was caught on Lake Shore Drive in the biggest snowstorm Chicago has had in 10 years and was also one of the worst ever.
Good thing I’m here instead.

Either The New Orleans Times-Picayune was trying to translate some unprintable Rex Ryan trash-talk or someone forgot to change the dummy text in the headline on the inside jump from the front-page, Jets-Patriots game story. If you had told me the second line was about an Icelandic volcano, I’d have believed it. This is what you get when you write a Jets-Patriots headline that isn’t a pun involving Rex Ryan and feet.
Although I do think most Patriots fans would agree that the game was “barllskdjf fkdasd.”
Let this be known that:
There will be absolutely NO taunting allowed during the NFL playoffs this season while the Bears are still alive, without repercussions from the offending party.
Example:
I come back from Lunch today and this is what is waiting for me at my desk. Needless to say I wasn’t impressed.
Just know this, there will be consequences.
In other news, SEAHAWKS head coach and Ex-USC national championship stealing—I mean winning—head-coach (ahem-CHEAT-*cough), “Sneaky Pete” Carroll, said they will kick/punt to BEARS #23 Devin Hester. I don’t know if it’s cockiness or just plain stupidity that’s more of a factor here in basically handing the ball over to the record-holder for the most touchdown returns in NFL history, to have his way with one of the weakest special teams units in the league.
Anyways, it should be a good matchup this weekend. I’m going to be watching it at the Office Bar and Grill in Burbank with Raf and Franky. If any rowdy SEAHAWKS fans get in my face, I’m going to do to them what I hope my BEARS can do to their team, which is, PUT THEM OUT. Because, let’s face it. Just as Seattle doesn’t belong in the playoffs with a 7-9 record, a Seattle fan doesn’t belong cheering their team in a public place without some type of embarrasment. They belong at home, cheering to themselves.
Happy hunting this weekend football fans…
So this means that If I am on an AT&T iPhone, I have to cancel my contract, then go to Verizon and buy ANOTHER iPhone, and then sign a 2 year contract with them? And I’m not going to get the 4G, but only the 3G. Sweet. I’m calling at&t right now to cancel…NOT.
FFWD one year: What happens when the next iPhone comes out? Meaning, one that was designed specifically for the Verizon Network, as opposed to this one which is, at best, being retrofitted? And since I signed up on Feb 3rd 2011, I’m not eligible for an upgrade yet huh? So I’m stuck with my Originally-made-for-AT&T-but-now-Retrofitted-for-Verizon iPhone 4 on 3G for another year or so. Groovy.
And what about the data plans? We are also ASSUMING that the data plans will be cheaper over at Verizon since everyone knows that AT&T is EVIL. Will the Verizon “unlimited” even be offered? We ARE talking about Apple here. Let’s not be surprised if there is some clause in that contract there that prevents that.
About the only way this makes sense, is for the people who have been waiting for it to happen for the past year or so, ever since the rumors began circulating. I’m sure that in that last year, about half of those people have already gotten tired of waiting and gotten an Android phone, like I did. Half of the others that are still waiting, have been waiting for so long that they could wait even longer if the Verizon Plans look anything like what AT&T is offering.
This sounds like a scam and looks like a Flop. Verizon already looks like an asshole and their iPhone isn’t even out yet. They are hoping that we won’t notice we are getting a Corvette with a diesel engine, Just because it looks like a Corvette. For all we know they could be counting on the masses of iPhone customers to hate AT&T so much that they just BLINDLY switch over without really looking at the specifics and details.
Shame on you Verizon, for waiting so long that people have moved on from caring that you NOW have the iPhone.
